November 30, 2004Former MEGADETH guitarist Marty Friedman's instructional DVD, "99 Secret Lead Guitar Phrases", has had its release date pushed back to December 31, 2004. The delay is being attributed to "final touch-ups and upgrades to the DVD," according to a posting on Friedman's web site. The initial batch of DVDs sold through Marty's site will be signed by the guitarist.
In other news, Marty will be contributing a song to the "D1 Grand Prix" album on Avex, slated for a March 2005 release.

Marty will record the Avex track and the Sony song with GACKT drummer Ryu Nishida in Tokyo.
